Counseling and Psychological Services

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) offers a wide range of confidential, therapeutic services designed to foster the psychological health and well-being of our students in order help them to thrive, develop, and achieve academic and personal success. We embrace the diversity that is embodied in the community we serve, and we acknowledge that the individual needs of our students are unique. Thus, we treat each person with respect and dignity. Through collaboration with others across Seton Hall, we work to provide programs and services that build a supportive community for all.

Confidentiality

CAPS is a confidential resource, meaning that we cannot share information with anyone outside of CAPS (including parents) without the written consent from the student. The only exceptions to confidentiality are in the event of imminent risk of serious harm to self or others.
