Department of Communication Media and the Arts
Jon Kraszewski is a professor in the Visual and Sound Media program. He is author of two books, Reality TV (Routledge, 2017) and The New Entrepreneurs: An Institutional History of Television Anthology Writers (Wesleyan University Press, 2010), as well as numerous articles on television and film. His research interests include television studies, reality TV, media genres, media authorship, media history, representations of race on television and film, and media as cultural geography. He is currently writing the book Route 66 for Wayne State University Press’s TV Milestones series.
