Anna Folckomer, DAOM

Dr. Folckomer has been teaching anatomy at Seton Hall University since 2017. She also teaches exercise physiology and pharmacology to DPT students. She owns a multidisciplinary private practice in midtown Manhattan, where she is currently in clinical practice. She has taught anatomy throughout the US, Canada, UK, Asia, and Australia. She is currently enrolled in a PhD program at Rocky Mountain University, where she is seeking a dual degree in Health Professions Education and Health Policy and Administration. She frequently presents functional anatomy lectures at various conferences, and she created and taught the Anatomy and Injury Prevention course at Joffrey Ballet. As the Anatomist for SHU's School of Health and Medicine, she performs all of the cadaveric prosections used by the departments.
Dr. Folckomer has a passion for using anatomy as an interprofessional communication tool to help students learn how to better integrate care across all disciplines and specialties.
