After launching a successful Fall Series, the Graduate Student Virtual Lunch & Learn Series will continue during the Spring 2026 Semester. Current graduate students are invited to participate in these dynamic biweekly events designed to empower your academic journey!

Starting January 28 and running every other Wednesday through April 22, these lunchtime sessions bring together campus experts and key resources to support your success.

Presented by the Office of Graduate Affairs in collaboration with our campus partners, this series highlights the key tools, services and opportunities designed to support every graduate student. Whether you want to strengthen your research abilities, tap into wellness offerings, explore tech resources, or advance your career journey, you’ll find something valuable in each session.

February 11: TLTC Presents: Discover Microsoft Outlook

MS Outlook can help you take control of your email, calendar and daily workflow in this hands-on workshop designed for the campus community. Participants will learn practical strategies for managing inbox overload, organizing messages with folders and rules and scheduling meetings more efficiently. The session will also explore calendar tools, task management and tips for staying organized across academic and professional responsibilities. Whether you’re new to Outlook or looking to work more efficiently, this workshop will help you communicate and manage your time with confidence.

February 25: Counseling and Psychological Services Presents:  From Values to Vision: A Smarter Way to Set Goals

 Please join us for this information session designed to better aid your research, provide helpful usage tools and support your assignment needs. Specific aspects of student-centered education will also include data related to Artificial Intelligence (AI) along with specific academic subject areas. March 25: TLTC Presents: Enhancing Your Research Information with Excel

Excel has some basic functions that will allow you to sort literature that you are reviewing. Simple Excel functions can make the process more efficient. Finally, conditional formatting will assist you in identifying patterns. This lunch session will help you understand how Excel can streamline your workflow.

April 8: The Career Center Presents: Job Hunting: Strategic Search Methods for Graduate Students

Join the Career Center for a practical and energizing virtual Lunch & Learn for graduate students searching for internships, part-time roles, contract work and full-time opportunities. This session focuses on how to use a mix of reactive and proactive search strategies to find roles.  We will explore ways to find open opportunities, including job boards, professional networks, target organization research and direct outreach, so you can build a focused, efficient and personalized search plan.

This interactive session breaks down what anxiety actually is, why the body reacts the way it does and how to interrupt the stress response using practical coping skills. The focus is on understanding — not diagnosing — and building tools that work in real life.
