Over 3,000 undergraduate students earned a place on the Fall 2025 Dean’s List, reflecting exceptional academic achievement across Seton Hall University’s schools and colleges.
Students who make the Dean’s List must complete a minimum of 12 undergraduate credits during the semester and achieve a grade point average of 3.4 or higher, demonstrating a sustained commitment to academic excellence and the values that define the Seton Hall community.
This semester’s honorees represent a broad cross-section of disciplines and backgrounds. Biology, finance, and nursing were among the most represented majors, followed by marketing, psychology, and diplomacy and international relations. This highlights both the University’s strong STEM programs and its nationally recognized offerings in business, health sciences and global affairs.
The recognition also reflects participation across every stage of the undergraduate student experience. Of the more than 3,000 students honored, approximately 1,073 seniors, 725 juniors, 762 sophomores and 539 first-year students earned Dean’s List distinction this semester.
While many recipients come from communities across New Jersey and neighboring states such as New York and Pennsylvania, Dean’s List students also list home addresses in more than 20 countries worldwide, including Argentina, Australia, Denmark, India, Israel, Nigeria and Spain, reflecting Seton Hall’s global student community. The largest hometown groups include Staten Island, NY; Newark, NJ; Clifton, NJ; Wayne, NJ; and Edison, NJ.
These students exemplify the academic excellence, determination and commitment to learning that define the Seton Hall community.
