In compliance with New Jersey’s State law, this report contains information regarding reports of alleged violations of the University’s Anti-Hazing Policy. This report includes any organization, regardless of University recognition, a summary of the violation(s), and the finding(s) regardless of outcome within the last five years.

March 25, 2026 Phi Kappa Theta (ΦKΘ) Fraternity alleged to have been involved in hazing behavior of new members in 2023 and 2025. (Specifically: physical abuse, personal servitude, and harassment).

Investigation yielded sufficient evidence to charge the chapter with violations of the University hazing policy. Additionally, chapter leadership acknowledged hazing behavior conducted by former members corroborating initial report. 

As a result, the chapter was found responsible and their recognition was revoked for a period of five years. The chapter is no longer affiliated with Seton Hall University.

January 21, 2026 Omega Psi Phi (ΩΨΦ) Chapter alleged to have engaged in hazing behavior conducted by external members of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity (Specifically: excessive exercise, physical abuse, and harassment). Investigation yielded insufficient evidence to charge the chapter with violations of the University hazing policy. April 30, 2026
May 5, 2025 Kappa Alpha Psi ( KAΨ ) alleged to have been involved in hazing behavior with external members of the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity (Specifically: physical abuse, personal servitude, consumption of undesirable food, harassment) Investigation yielded insufficient evidence to charge the chapter with violations of the University hazing policy. September 27, 2024 Baseball Team alleged to have engaged in hazing behavior (Specifically: physical abuse, isolation, harassment) Investigation by external, independent legal counsel found insufficient evidence to charge any player with violations of University hazing policy. August 21, 2025

Campus Hazing Transparency Report

In compliance with Section 485(f) of the Higher Education Act of 1965 (20 U.S.C. 1092(f)), the Campus Hazing Transparency Report provides a summary of findings concerning any recognized student organizations that have been found in violation of the University’s Non-Hazing Policy as of January 1, 2025.
