Seton Hall University’s campus was filled with Pirate Pride and celebration as over 3,200 alumni, students, parents, families and friends came together for Hall Homecoming and Family Weekend 2025, held October 3–5. The three-day celebration showcased the strength and spirit of the Pirate community with a full slate of events, entertainment and opportunities to reconnect.

The weekend followed the recent launch of For All, Forever: A Campaign for a Greater Seton Hall, the University’s historic $225 million fundraising initiative. That momentum carried into the festivities, which built on last year’s success and marked a record turnout for the annual event.

“Hall Homecoming and Family Weekend was a powerful reminder of what makes the Seton Hall community so special, thanks to the alumni, students, parents, families and friends who came back to celebrate,” said Anthony Bellucci, M.B.A. ’18, Associate Vice President of Alumni Engagement and Philanthropy. “The excitement on campus and the connections strengthened among Pirates highlighted the shared spirit and purpose behind our campaign, For All, Forever.”

The celebration kicked off Friday evening with Stomp the Hall, the high-energy step show presented by Seton Hall’s NPHC organizations and guest performers, drawing a sold-out crowd to witness an electric display of tradition and talent. Throughout the weekend, a variety of affinity groups took part, from student organizations and Buccino Leadership Institute members to Bayley Society donors, student-athletes and campus partners such as WSOU, the RISE program and Cybersecurity. Together, they embodied the inclusive and connected spirit of the Pirate community.

On Saturday, the excitement spread across campus with carnival rides and games on The Green, featuring student organizations that showcased their Pirate pride and involvement. Athletic matchups featuring Seton Hall’s men’s soccer, women’s softball and swim and dive teams energized fans, while the fan-favorite Basketball All-Star Showcase gave supporters an early look at the men’s and women’s basketball squads.

Music and festivities filled the weekend, highlighted by the sold-out Oktoberfest Tent Happy Hour, which featured live music, local craft brews and fire pit gatherings that brought together multiple generations. Parents also enjoyed academic immersion through Inside Seton Hall: A Parent Experience, which offered open classroom sessions with faculty, followed by opportunities to connect during the sold-out Jazz Brunch on Sunday, where guests enjoyed a buffet, live music from the Seton Hall Jazz Band and reflections from University leaders on the power of Pirate connections.

As attendees departed campus, one theme rang clear: Seton Hall’s spirit of community continues to thrive. Through shared memories, renewed friendships and the promise of what’s to come, Hall Homecoming and Family Weekend 2025 reaffirmed what it means to be a Pirate—For All, Forever.
