Commuter Ambassadors

Commuter Ambassadors are a new student leadership opportunity for commuter students! Ambassadors assist the Office of Student Engagement with the brainstorming and execution of commuter programming. Ambassadors help with event planning, informational tabling, and outreach and support within the commuter student population. Hiring for the 2027 Commuter Ambassadors will open in Fall 2026.

Commuter Corner

Commuter Corner is a monthly pop-up event series held specifically for commuters during commuter friendly hours. Join Seton Hall Commutes on Engage to stay up to date on upcoming events.

Commuter Study Hall

Looking for a place to study while on campus? On the third Monday of every month from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., the Campus Inclusion Center (University Center Room 209) will be open for commuters. Stop by to study and make connections with other commuter students.

Commuter Birthday Celebrations

Celebrate commuter birthdays each month with the Campus Inclusion Center on the first Thursday of each month! Stop by University Center 209 between 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. to celebrate.

Parking Information

Permits are required for any student planning to bring their vehicle to campus. Commuter permits are issued to students who do not reside in any of the residence halls. Learn more about the various permits which can be purchased by commuting students.

Need to purchase your parking permit? All permits can be purchased through PirateNet using the Parking Portal app. Need help? Check out a step-by-step guide with instructions on how to use Parking Portal.

Don't have a car? Take advantage of any of the transportation services offered for students.

Spaces and Places

Looking for a place to study, take a break, grab a bite to eat, or just hang out? Check out these spaces that are available to commuters.

Commuter Lockers

Need a place to store your books or other items during class or events? Lockers are available in Duffy Hall (First Floor, across from Parking and ID Services) for commuters to reserve!

Apply for a locker by email Residence Life at residencelife@shu.edu, or stopping by the Residence Life office in Duffy 68. Residence Life will assign you a locker. Just remember to bring your own lock!
