Paul E. Fisher Jr., M.P.A. '98 was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief of Staff, effective September 1, 2026. He oversees Human Resources, Information Technology and Facilities Engineering, and serves as a trusted adviser to the President, helping to administer the Office of the President, strengthening intra- and inter-office protocols and serving as a liaison to internal and external communities.

Paul joined Seton Hall in 1997 and has served in roles of increasing responsibility across nearly three decades, including Director of the Teaching, Learning and Technology Center, Associate Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Officer. He joined the Executive Cabinet as Vice President for Information Technology and CIO in January 2024, guiding strategic efforts to harness technology in service of the University's core pillars of teaching, learning, research and faith. Awarded the McQuaid Medal in 2021 for his contributions to integrating technology into the curriculum and supporting faculty, he co-chairs the Priority 5: Sustainable Resources working group of Inspiring Great Minds to Greater Purpose and the University Data Governance Council.

He has been pivotal in the University's digital transformation, overseeing the development of innovative teaching and learning environments including the Innovation Hub at the Teaching, Learning and Technology Center in Walsh Library and the medical simulation center in Nutley. He expanded Seton Hall's online course portfolio, was instrumental in ensuring uninterrupted operations and remote education during the COVID-19 pandemic, and helped earn the University recognition as an Adobe Creative Campus in 2022. He has taught as an adjunct in the College of Arts and Sciences and the former College of Education and Human Services, and is active in EDUCAUSE, where he has served on the faculty of its Learning Technology Leadership Institute.
