Assistant Professor, Director of Clinical Education
Department of Physician Assistant
After graduating with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant from Seton Hall in 2012, I continued my involvement with the program as an adjunct faculty member, and am now full-time as Assistant Professor, Director of Clinical Education.
My clinical experience has been in neurosurgical intensive care, internal medicine and global healthcare. Exemplified in my dedication to providing aid in medical missions to the rural areas of the Dominican Republic and subpopulations within New Jersey, my emphasis in healthcare is medically underserved patient populations. My goals include increasing access to health services and educating the public on opportunities for improving their health and well-being.
As a driven Physician Assistant educator, I believe that teaching is an honor. My teaching philosophy is based on respect for the diversity of learning styles and goals of the students to achieve a solid foundation of medical knowledge. In doing so, I strive to be accessible, attentive and encouraging to allow for the formation of confidence in student abilities and development for success as future clinicians.
