Important: Programs are available on a first-come, first-served basis with limited spots up until the application deadline. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required for approval, and students must not be on disciplinary probation level II or higher prior to departure.

In addition to your Seton Hall application, you must complete your host campus application:
• USAC Campuses: Complete your USAC application alongside your Seton Hall application. Make sure you complete all requirements associated with the USAC application. Click here to get started.
• Exchange Campuses: After you have been Approved and Confirmed by Seton Hall and your nomination has been accepted by the Exchange Campus, the Exchange Campus will send you its Application and Pre-Arrival Requirements.

Congratulations on being approved! Check your email for next steps to confirm your spot. Important: Approval does not guarantee you a spot until you complete the confirmation process. Confirmation is on a first-come, first-served basis up until the application deadline and space is limited. Your status will be updated to "Confirmed" after completing the following steps in the Study Abroad Portal:
• Sign the "Acknowledgment of Refund, Participation and Withdrawal Policy"
• Submit a $500 Non-Refundable Deposit* payment
*All students approved for a Semester Abroad Program are required to submit a $500 non-refundable deposit through the Study Abroad Portal to confirm their spot and secure their nomination. The deposit is applied as a $500 credit toward the student's Seton Hall tuition bill for the semester they will study abroad. If a student withdraws from the program after being confirmed by Seton Hall and successfully approved by their host campus, the $500 tuition credit will be removed from the student's tuition bill, and the non-refundable deposit will not be refunded.

Host Campus Application: Make sure you complete all the requirements associated with your host campus application.
• For USAC Campuses, this occurs alongside your Seton Hall application. Click here to return to your USAC Gateway and view those requirements.
• For Exchange Campuses, this occurs after you are confirmed and your nomination has been accepted by the host campus. Your Exchange campus will then send you its application and pre-arrival requirements. Carefully review all requirements they send you.
Important: For both USAC and Exchange campuses, it is especially important to complete all visa, housing, and pre-arrival items in a timely manner.

You're confirmed and nominated for your program! After nomination, complete these steps to be "Ready for Departure":
• Complete Host Campus Pre-Arrival Requirements: Your host campus will have specific requirements to complete before your arrival. Among the most important are completing your visa, housing, and pre-arrival items in a timely manner. Be sure to stay in regular contact with your host campus and respond promptly to their emails. Failure to complete all pre-arrival requirements in a timely fashion may jeopardize your participation in the program and result in financial consequences.
• Complete Seton Hall Pre-Departure Requirements: Complete pre-departure requirements thru the Study Abroad Portal at least one month before your program begins.
• Prepare for Your Time Abroad: Visit the Preparing and Packing hub for resources and tips.
