  This Canvas course is a step-by-step guide to help all professors prepare course materials that support individuals with visible and invisible disabilities. It is a self-enroll course. You will be able to:

  • Apply accommodations to Canvas quizzes and assignments

  Disability Support Services and TLTC created a set of short, self-paced online modules to help faculty better understand and support students with disabilities in their classes. Each module takes about 10 minutes or less and offers practical tips, examples and strategies that can be applied right away. The modules can be completed in any order, revisited anytime and used as a quick reference throughout the semester.   Through engaging course readings paired with practice activities, course completers will build their foundational knowledge of design concepts such as typography, color, layout and the appropriate use of university logos and brand assets. The course can be completed all at once in as little as 30 minutes or used as a resource when completing an assignment or creating a submission for the Petersheim Academic Exposition.

  By the end of this course, students will be able to:

  • Demonstrate visual design through examples
  • Discuss the impact of visual design in everyday life
  • Describe the basics of design fundamentals including composition, typography, color and imagery

  This Microsoft Office 365 Essentials training course is designed to provide you with the basic knowledge and skills to use Word, Excel and Outlook. You may complete individual modules or all three to earn a digital badge upon completion. To begin, click the Modules link on the left-hand course navigation menu, then select the tool (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel or Outlook) you’d like to learn first. It is recommended that you use the most recent version of Chrome to access this course.

  The Academic Integrity module allows students to evaluate various scenarios related to plagiarism, ethics and the academic process. Students are encouraged to take time to go through each section, view the resources and become acquainted with how to serve as a conscientious member of the Seton Hall University academic community. This Academic Integrity module was created by University Libraries and the TLTC. The module takes approximately 20 minutes to complete.
