Seton Hall University is enhancing your digital experience with the launch of the new University Portal, accessible through PirateNet. Designed with a clean, intuitive interface and enhanced navigation, the new portal is your go-to hub for academic, administrative, and campus life resources.

University Portal fully replaces SHU Portal, LawNet, and Self-Service Banner (SSB) by bringing together all their core functions into one streamlined platform. Although these legacy systems will be retired in August 2025, they will all remain accessible through the summer to support a smooth and successful transition.

The University Portal is your new digital home for completing everyday tasks quickly, efficiently, and from any device. The customizable dashboard allows you to place the tools and resources most relevant to you front and center for quick access.

Whether you are a student managing course registration and financial aid, a faculty member reviewing class lists and course information or an employee submitting leave reports, the tools you rely on are still available. Now, they are easier to access and navigate.

The portal also keeps you informed with real-time updates on important deadlines, such as add/drop periods and open enrollment.

The University Portal launch is more than just a refresh. It marks another milestone in Seton Hall University’s broader digital transformation initiative. This multi-year project, which includes migrating to Banner SaaS and rolling out new administrative solutions, is designed to modernize operations, improve efficiency, and deliver a more connected and personalized experience for all Pirates.

The platform is designed to eventually offer real-time integration with Banner and other key systems, to display your most current information about classes, financial aid, and campus updates together in one place. Future enhancements will introduce task management features that help you stay organized with personalized alerts, to-do lists and deadline reminders.
