Microsoft Outlook: Message Recall on iOS and Android
Outlook on iOS and Android now supports message recall, allowing users to retract sent emails. To recall a message, open the Sent folder on your device, select the email, tap the ellipsis (...) in the top-right corner, and select Recall from the menu. A status update will confirm whether the recall was successful. This feature may not work for older emails.
Microsoft Teams: Share Contact Information in Channels
Users can now share contact details of individuals who are not part of a chat, making it easier to introduce and connect with collaborators within Teams channels.
Microsoft 365 Apps: OneDrive Backup Prompts
Microsoft 365 will now remind eligible users to back up their files to OneDrive. In Word, Excel and PowerPoint, you’ll see a prompt in the Message Bar to help you get started. You can choose which folders to back up, making it easy to collaborate in the cloud, use Copilot features and keep your files more secure.
Microsoft 365 Copilot: Insert Cloud Files in Chat Prompts
It’s now easier to add cloud files in Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Chat. You can attach files from OneDrive or SharePoint using the Web tab. This makes it simpler to bring in the right content when creating prompts or working in Copilot.
Microsoft OneDrive & SharePoint: New PDF Annotation Tools
A redesigned PDF annotation layout in OneDrive and SharePoint places all annotation tools in a single row at the top of the screen for easier access. The update also includes a pixel-by-pixel eraser, improving precision when editing PDFs.
Coming Soon to M365 (May 2025)
Microsoft Teams: "Files" Tab Renamed to "Shared"
The Files tab in Teams channels is now called Shared and will display not only document library files but also all files and links shared in channel conversations, making it easier to find all shared content in one place.
Microsoft Teams: Enhanced Spell Checking with Multi-Language Support
Teams is getting an upgrade to spell checking, now supporting up to three languages at once. As you type, misspelled words will be highlighted. You can choose to correct, ignore, or add them to your personal dictionary—making it easier to communicate clearly, even when switching between languages.
Microsoft Outlook: New Org Explorer
A new Org Explorer in Outlook will provide a visual representation of an organization's internal structure, helping users navigate teams, discover connections and understand roles and responsibilities more easily.
