Summer Pre-College Programs FAQ

Required Forms

In order to participate in our programs, you must print and complete the following forms with a parent or guardian signature and return to the University (preferably electronically) before your course begins.

For South Orange Campus Programs

Check-In: Check-in will begin 1 hour before your first class in Schwartz Hall, Room 101. Please arrive no later than half an hour before your first class for check-in. All the other days of your program, you will go directly to your classroom at the start time of your class.

Campus Map: The University address is 400 South Orange Avenue, South Orange, NJ. Our Campus Map is available here. You will announce to the guard at the campus gate that you are here for a pre-college program. Look for directional guidance signs on campus to get to the check-in location.

Parking: Parking is available on campus. Please use this link to secure parking.

Complimentary Lunch: All participating students will have access to complimentary lunch in the University Center Cafeteria between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. each day of the course.

Library Access: Students will have access to the Walsh Library from July 13-24. They can check in and check out at the reference desk.

Gym Access: Use of the Fieldhouse in our Recreation Center will be available on Tuesday, July 14 and Thursday, July 16 from 2-3 p.m. and from 3-4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21 and Thursday, July 23 for pick-up basketball, volleyball, corn hole, pickleball, and indoor track. Please use this form to sign up for gym time.

Campus Tours: Campus tours will be available on Mondays at 2 p.m. and Wednesdays at 4 p.m. To register for a tour, use these links: July 13 at 2 p.m., July 15 at 4 p.m., July 20 at 2 p.m., July 22 at 4 p.m.

For Interprofessional Health Sciences Campus Nutley

Meeting Spot for Class: We will meet in the lobby of Building 123 through the main entrance in front of the Interprofessional Health Sciences campus sign. The building is marked "Seton Hall University" and "Hackensack Meridian."

Check-In: Check-in will begin 15 minutes before your first class in the lobby of Building 123 Metro Boulevard, Nutley, NJ. Please arrive no later than 8:45 a.m. each day for security to check you in and for us to promptly start class at 9 a.m.

Parking: Complimentary parking is available in the South Lot for any students who drive to campus. Whether a student is getting dropped off or parking, when you arrive at the campus, go to the South lot in front of the building. This can be accessed off Metro Boulevard or Ideation Way. Proceed to the gate and press the button for assistance. Let the dispatcher know you are dropping off or parking for the CEPS Pre Health High School Summer Program.

Complimentary Snacks: All participating students will have access to complimentary snacks in the classroom each day of their course between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m.
