Study Abroad Opportunities
Overview
International experience plays an increasing role in today's work place. Therefore, the department offers a variety of study abroad opportunities.
Exchange Program to Austria
Johannes Kepler University Linz (JKU) in Linz, Austria and Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey, U.S.A., offer an exchange program for mathematics and computer science undergraduate students.
Information for Seton Hall students
The exchange program is most suitable for computer science students or mathematics students with a minor in computer science. Students will be able to take computer science and mathematics courses, as well as German courses, at Johannes Kepler University. Furthermore, students can take any other courses offered by JKU if they are compatible with Seton Hall program requirements.
Typically an undergraduate will visit JKU during the spring or summer semester of his or her Junior Year. The program will be open for Seton Hall students for the first time during Spring 2010.

Information for JKU students
This exchange program is most suitable for students specializing in Computer Mathematics. See the course descriptions likely to be offered by the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Seton Hall. Furthermore, JKU students can take any other courses offered by Seton Hall if they are compatible with JKU program requirements.
Typically an undergraduate will visit Seton Hall University during the fall or winter during the third or fifth semester. The program will be open for JKU students during Fall 2009 for the first time.
