Coordinates scholarships, special programs, dual-credit opportunities, research pathways, and other academic initiatives.
Faculty and Curriculum Leadership
Oversees faculty excellence, curriculum development, and academic initiatives that shape the quality of the student learning experience.
Resource Management
Manages budgets, facilities, operations, classrooms, labs, and student spaces to support teaching, learning, and student success.
Connection and Problem-Solving
Helps students connect with the right person or office when academic, personal, or logistical challenges arise.

Meet the Dean
As Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, Dean Jonathan Farina provides academic and strategic leadership for the College’s departments, programs, and centers. He works closely with students, faculty, and staff to shape a learning environment grounded in the liberal arts and sciences, critical inquiry, and service.
Dean Farina advocates for resources that enhance teaching and learning, champions opportunities for student research and interdisciplinary collaboration, and ensures that the College remains responsive to evolving student needs and career pathways.
