Seton Hall students have the chance to take their passion for sports global during
this year’s Study Abroad trip to France, running February 27–March 9, 2026. The program
offers an unparalleled mix of academics, cultural immersion and professional networking.
The trip, which is held during Seton Hall’s spring break, will be led by Alex Requena, adjunct professor of sports management, and Benjamin Pincus, associate dean for assessment and external engagement in the Stillman School of Business.
Students will gain exclusive behind-the-scenes access to some of the world’s most renowned sports organizations, including:
- Paris Saint-Germain (PSG)
- Olympique de Marseille
- AS Monaco Soccer
- Paris Basketball (EuroLeague)
- Roland Garros (home of the French Open)
- Formula 1 Monte Carlo
From watching live matches in iconic venues to engaging with industry executives and learning how international sports brands operate, participants will see firsthand how global sport is managed, marketed and celebrated.
Beyond the stadiums and boardrooms, students will also experience the richness of French culture. The itinerary includes guided tours of Paris, Monaco and Marseille; visits to historical landmarks; and opportunities to enjoy world-class French cuisine.
This program is open to both undergraduate and graduate students in the College of Human Development, Culture, and Media (CHDCM) and the Stillman School of Business, with particular value for those studying sports media. Students will not only strengthen their academic and professional skills, but also expand their worldview by connecting global sport to culture, history and society.
