Showcasing movie, "Paradise"  

Paradise Movie On Thursday, November 11th, 2021, at 6:30 p.m., in Fahy hall room 236, please join Seton Hall's Hillel and the Slavic Club in person, or via TEAMS, where they will be showcasing the movie, PARADISE. This is a Kristallnacht Remembrance Movie, which will be introduced by Professor Shiloff.

Before viewing the movie, Hillel will have a short presentation on Kristallnacht and the importance to remember such events.

Movie Synopsis: "Paradise" (Russian: Рай) with English subtitles is a 2016 holocaust drama. Andrei Konchalovsky directed the film. It was selected to compete for the Golden Lion at the 73rd Venice International Film Festival.

The historical drama set during the Second World War centers on three people whose paths cross: a Russian aristocratic emigrant and member of the French resistance, a French collaborator, and a high-ranking German SS officer.

Please come and relax while snacking and watching this fascinating movie.

The refreshments will be provided by Hillel.
