Proposal Development Support
Our goal is to increase a faculty member's research and writing productivity while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Designing a grant strategy involves identifying the funders you want to undertake, and, to the extent possible, specific opportunities of interest from each funding source. At Seton Hall University (SHU) we have engaged McAllister & Quinn a Washington, DC-based higher education consulting firm to accomplish the grant strategy with less frustration.
One of the most important goals of McAllister & Quinn’s job was to develop a funding opportunity matrix outlining external funding opportunities that align with SHU goals. With the approval of OGRS staff (slots are not unlimited!), McAllister & Quinn staff will help faculty members to compete for any opportunity by providing expert guidance throughout the entire application process. They offered advice to craft competitive applications to the Federal Government, Private Foundations, etc. The expert guide includes but it is no limited to assessing the opportunity, reviewing narratives with subject matter experts and professional writers, but also, they help to create a check list tailored to the funding opportunity requirements so you will not miss any requisite.
Are you ready to try! Please contact OGRS at grantsoffice@shu.edu for more information to discuss your eligibility for this service. *
