Participants will build cultural intelligence, communications skills, teamwork, equity and inclusion skills, critical thinking and professionalism.

The group will visit El Yunque Rainforest, the only tropical forest in the United States National Forest System. They will see 1000-year-old trees, exotic rainbow-colored flowers and thick vines with large masses of lush red flowers. Additionally, they will hear two-note song of the "Coquí," the chatter of tropical birds and possibly the quacking of the endangered Puerto Rican parrot. Participants will relax on the Balneario La Monserrate in Luquillo Beach, considered one of the best and beautiful beaches in Puerto Rico, has an extensive coast; calm and crystalline waters, soft sand and palm trees. The group will taste at Frutos del Guacabo, one of the most constant and versatile suppliers of the Puerto Rican gastronomic market. This sensory tour of the farm includes visiting the hydroponics area, micro sprouts, edible flowers, interaction with the farm animals, goat milking and the farm store.
