About: I joined WSOU in the Fall of 2018 to improve my news reporting and gain a better idea of the field where I hope to start a career in television anchoring. I am a member of the sports and news departments, which piqued my interest from the moment I became a staff member. My passion for the numerous sports this university has to offer and the privileges given to me from the news department have made my time here at WSOU memorable in only my first year! Go Hall!

About: I fell in love with broadcasting at my high school when I participated in the TV Club and when I became the inaugural student broadcaster for our Sports Radio. I came to WSOU for sports staff, but I gave news a try and I really enjoy it. I look forward to my news shift every week and I am always excited to bring people news from all over New Jersey and the country.

About: Ever since I was little I wanted to be on the radio. Something about the larger than life personalities and the joy music brings people made me want to be the guy in the booth. I originally joined WSOU to try and become a DJ because I thought it would be fun, but I’ve found newscasting to be a lot of fun so far too.
Ideal career after college: After college, I want to work as a Foreign Service Officer working in a foreign embassy.

About: I grew up with my father always listening to 1010 WINS for traffic and news reports. I joined WSOU for mostly sports broadcasting. However, as I dove more into WSOU and started to dabble in everything that they have to offer, news casting became one of the main things that I enjoy doing for the station.
Ideal career after college: After college, I would like to stay somewhere in the sports industry. Nevertheless, I am open to many options.

About: After living in Byram for my whole life, I am going back to where my family planted their roots. My parents grew up in Newark, so it only seems right to go back to the area where they came from. Although I am studying media at Seton Hall, I studied Culinary Arts for four years at Sussex County Technical School.
Ideal career after college: My ideal career would be to host a show that melds the worlds of sports and news, much like an Outside the Lines style show.

About: I was born in Pennsylvania in 1999 at the tender age of zero. Growing up in a small hick town, my only sources of entertainment were listening to the radio and herding cattle. Luckily, after receiving a large scholarship from Seton Hall, I surpassed the latter activity and is now reporting for WSOU News. When I’m not slaving over 24-7 News Source, I can be found working as an intern at The Maury Povich Show through NBC as well as a Resident Assistant on campus. In the little free time he has, I enjoy performing on stage, writing, video editing, sleeping, and avoiding any and all responsibilities for as long as possible.
Ideal career after college: After graduating from Seton Hall, I want to be happy.

About I joined WSOU for the music and did not think that I would become interested in broadcasting. Since joining the station, I have found a passion for Public Relations and really enjoy newscasting as well as all other aspects of WSOU .
Ideal career after college: My ideal career after college would be to work in Public Relations for either a political campaign or a larger radio station in New York City, and hopefully getting the chance to work personally with heavy metal musicians.

I enjoy helping people and by working in radio, I believe that I am entertaining our audience in some way.
Ideal career after college: After college, I hope to get on air as a play-by-play announcer and get involved in the news industry as well. My goal is to be a part of multiple fields in the media industry, whether that is sports, music, or news.

Morgan News Morgan Huber - Assistant News Director
Home State:
Pennsylvania
Major: Diplomacy
Minor: Journalism
Year: Sophomore
About: Honestly, I have always had a passion for radio and the media. Growing up, whether it was music on my local station or Elvis Duran and the Morning Show, I always had the speakers on my stereo blasting. That combined with my ever growing interest in whatever is going on in the world pushed me to pursue work in broadcasting. Ever since I set foot in the studio last Fall, I have encountered endless opportunities and met so many great people. My work so far for WSOU has taught me so much and given me so many great memories; there is no chance I would ever look back and regret my decision to turn on the mic. Besides newscasting, I am also working towards my DJ clearance, conducting interviews with notable figures in the music industry, and reporting for the Global Current, our station's political talk show. I also anchor for Pirate TV and write for the Diplomatic Envoy, Seton Hall's newspaper reporting on various topics in international politics. In the future, I hope to move up the ranks of WSOU and continue to inform, educate, and entertain the metal community of New York and New Jersey.
Ideal career after college: While I would ideally like to work in the field of government, I am also open to a potential career in the private or non-profit sectors. My interests lean towards global health and human rights law, so I would love to hopefully work for a company or organization that focuses on one of those areas. Travel writing and political journalism are also preferred options. Regardless, I hope to end in a career where I am happy, financially stable, and ensuring the same for those I work with.
